ABOUT DR. LAWRENCE
Ronald M. Lawrence, M.D., Ph.D., is an assistant clinical professor of the UCLA School of
Medicine in Los Angeles.
Dr. Lawrence earned his M.D. from the University of California, California College of
Medicine at Irvine. He holds a Master of Science in neurophysiology from New York
University's Bellevue Division and a Bachelors Degree in biology from New York University.
He also holds a Ph.D. in psychology from California Western University.
Dr. Lawrence is a member of the California Medical Association, the American Academy of
Neurology/Section on Geriatric Neurology and a founding member of the American Academy of
Neuromuscular Thermography.
Additionally, he is a founding member of the International Association for the Study of
Pain and a member of the American Pain Association; the American Academy for Pain
Research; and the research Group on Pain, World Federation of Neurology, among other
affiliations.
